TERMS AND CONDITIONS
MAKE nordic’s furniture is only sold exclusively through its own online webshop in Denmark. Most of the furniture can only be found at MAKE nordic’s website. Your order is received online, but you are also more than welcome to call or write us for questions, or if you would like to order by phone and pay by bank transfer.
If you want a fabric or leather on an upholstered piece of furniture that is not seen on the webshop, please contact us and we will try to accommodate your wish. If you want a custom-made piece of furniture or special fabric that is not part of the basic collection on MAKEnordic.com be aware that the right to return cannot be exercised.
The payment is reserved from your account when ordering. Then the payment will be deducted from your account the day of dispatch. If you have received an order confirmation or invoice, the amount must be paid via a bank transfer or MobilePay before you can receive the item.
Its possible to pay with Dankort, Visa, Visa Electron, Maestro and Mastercard.
All prices on MAKEnordic.com include danish VAT and is in EURO.
We do not charge card fees.

Smaller furniture is delivered with GLS to the nearest parcel shop or to your home. Larger furniture is delivered as goods to the nearest curb, where a truck can arrive. It is possible for you to add a carry in service when you order your furniture. To make it easiest for you, we always contact you well in advance of delivery. We recommend that you have extra help present when your new furniture is delivered, if you do not choose to add on the carry in service. The delivery time is stated on the product page, so you can see the delivery time before you order.
The price for delivery with GLS costs € 49 – 100, while delivery with freight forwarder costs € 495 – 990.

It is important that you check that the received product are the right one which is delivered when you receive your new furniture. You must also see if there is visible damage to the packaging or the product. If you receive a sofa, the cardboard may well have collapsed, as we use recycled cardboard, which is often a little softer than usual. This is not a freight damage. If everything is as expected, please acknowledge receipt.
If the packaging is damaged, or bears signs of defect, we recommend that you only acknowledge receipt on the consignment note subject to any damage to the contents or rejects to receive the item, and ask the driver to return it.
14 DAYS RIGHT OF RETURN
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal when you shop with us as a consumer. The deadline expires 14 days after the day you received or picked up your item, or get your last items in physical possession when it comes to an agreement on several different items ordered in one order, which is delivered individually.
You must tell us within the 14 days of receipt that you wish to cancel your purchase. This must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org or you can use the standard cancellation form at the bottom of this site. YOU must make it clear to us that you wish to exercise your right of return. It is not possible to regret simply by refusing receipt of the item without giving us clear notice of this.
The item must be returned in original packaging and in the same condition as upon receipt. If the item is delivered unused and in original packaging, the full amount will be refunded.
If you wish to cancel your purchase, you must send your order back to us without undue delay no later than 14 days after you have announced that you wish to cancel your purchase. This must be agreed in collaboration with MAKE nordic. You must pay expenses in connection with the return of the product, and bear the risk of the product, from the time of delivery at your place until it is received at MAKE nordic at our warehouse in Esbjerg.
Certain items cannot be returned with regular mail. This applies to: the PRIMETIME armchair, the GOLIAT armchair, the BASECAMP modular sofa, the HOLMEN dining table, the TAMMI coffee table, the UMI daybed, the UMI coffee table/pouf and the UMI large bench. This also applies to larger batches of smaller furniture, for example 6 pcs. of the SOLDIER dining table chair.

We do not receive packages without distribution or packages sent by cash on delivery.
PRODUCTS EXCLUDED BY THE RIGHT OF RETURN
Items that are custom-made to your specifications on measurements or sofas and cushions with textiles that are not standard on our website, or products which have a clear personal touch, are exempt from the right of return.
CONDITION OF THE PRODUCT WHEN YOU RETURN IT
If the item has lost value and it is because you have used it in a different way than what was necessary to determine the item’s nature, properties and the way it works, you can only get part of the purchase amount back. The amount you can get back depends on the commercial value of the item, and in some cases it may mean that you can only get the shipping costs back.
We recommend that you send the item back in the original packaging. If the original packaging is missing, it may lead to a decrease in the value of the item.
MAKE NORDIC PRICE GUARANTEE
If you have bought a product no later than 30 days before and find that we have the same product at a special campaign price, we will refund the full difference between the sales price and the campaign price on a MAKE nordic giftcard.
REFUND OF THE PURCHASE AMOUNT
If you regret your purchase, you will get your money back. If the order is impaired, we will deduct it from the amount you are liable for. We will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (however, this does not apply to extra delivery costs in cases where you have chosen a different form of delivery than the cheapest form of standard delivery that we offer), no later than 14 days from the day we has received your message that you want to cancel the agreement.
We will refund the money with the same means of payment that you used at the time of purchase, unless otherwise agreed.
We can withhold payment until we have received the product, unless you send us proof of having returned it.
RIGHT OF COMPLAINT
MAKE nordic’s complaint policy complies with current Danish sales law. You have a 2-year warranty on all products. This means that you can either have the item repaired, exchanged, the money back or a reduction in the price, depending on the specific situation. You can not claim defects that appear more than 2 years after the delivery of the item. It is, of course, a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the defect has not arisen as a result of incorrect use of the product or other damaging behavior. Note that wear and tear on fabric and surfaces is not necessarily a complaint. Any defects or deficiencies in the product received must be invoked within a reasonable time after they are found or should have been found.
We want to help you in the best possible way, and therefore you are welcome to contact us as soon as possible when you want to advertise. If you complain within two months after the error is discovered, the complaint will always be timely. As far as possible, photo documentation of errors and omissions should be sent to email@example.com. Thereafter, any return or repair.
If the complaint is justified, we will refund your (reasonable) shipping costs. The item must always be sent back in proper packaging. Also remember to get a receipt for shipping so we can refund your shipping costs.
PERSONAL DATA POLICY
No personal information registered on makeordic.com will at any time be transferred, sold or made available to third parties. All information is stored securely and is only available to trusted employees at MAKE nordic. You can at any time gain insight into your data, have it deleted or transferred.
In connection with electronic payment, a secure encrypted method is used through the webshop system. It is an approved provider with approval from the E-mark.
During a purchase we ask for e.g. name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. This information is used exclusively for processing your order. The information is transmitted and stored electronically in unencrypted form, and stored for 5 years. The actual “contract” (purchase agreement) is not stored at MAKE nordic in a way that you can later log in and see / change status.
We also collaborate with a number of other companies that store and process data. Companies process information solely on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.
We only work with data processors in the EU or in countries that can provide your information with adequate protection.
In addition, we register the IP address from which any purchases are made. The information is usually not used, but can be used in a possible police investigation. All false orders are reported to the police!

As registered with MAKE nordic, you have the right to object to the registration, and the right to insight into what information is registered about you. You have these rights according to the Personal Data Act and inquiries in this connection should be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org
