The fabric type is woven from 70% recycled wool and 30% polyamide, which gives a soft and luxurious surface. With Margrethe, you get both a popular expression and a very high wear resistance. Sustainability
The GRS certification helps to verify and trace the recycled materials in end products. The GRS certification thus defines specific requirements for content in materials, as well as good working conditions.
Impregnation
You can impregnate your furniture, but it is not necessary to impregnate wool, as it contains lanolin, which is naturally dirt-repellent, breathable and anti-bacterial.
Wool
Wool consists of fibers from sheep fleece and is due to its many good qualities an ideal material for furniture. Wool is both comfortable, durable, dirt-repellent and fire-retardant. The combination of these properties creates a material that is both soft, breathable and resists a high degree of wear. At the same time, wool stays nice for a long time, as wool resists a greater degree of dirt incl. embers from cigarettes and the like.
Care and Stain Removal
We recommend frequent vacuuming 1-2 times a week, as well as regular wiping of the fabric with a damp cloth.
A quick effort is essential to achieve the best result. Stains can be removed with the help of water, dishwashing soap, sparkling water or with the help of stain removers that are specially made for the purpose. Avoid stains by treating the entire seat surface.
Any pilling can be removed with a fabric shaver and thorough vacuuming.
We point out that dark clothes, such as denim, can spread on light fabrics when rubbed against each other, e.g. a pair of new jeans against a light sofa.
