WHEN YOU ORDER A SOFA
STEP BY STEP
Below you will learn more about what happens when you have placed your sofa order with us, and how you best receive, assemble and care for your new sofa. Care and maintenance are important if you want to enjoy your new sofa for years to come.

When you order your new sofa at MAKE nordic.com, we reserve the amount for your order in your account. The money is not deducted immediately, and is only deducted when your sofa is ready to be shipped to you.
Shortly after you have completed the purchase of your new sofa, you will receive an order confirmation in your mailbox. Remember to check your spam folder. It is always a good idea to look through your order confirmation to make sure that everything is as it should be. Feel free to contact us if you have questions or changes to your order.
You will be contacted 5 weeks after ordering your new sofa regarding the delivery day. The delivery day for your new sofa is approx. 6 weeks after your order.
You will be contacted by our external shipping company by text message or phone – and you of course have the opportunity to change the delivery date if the suggested date does not suit you.
If you have answered “ok” to the delivery time by text message, your sofa will arrive as agreed.
If you have replied that you would like to have it delivered another day, your furniture will not arrive as described on the text message. And the carrier will contact you again when they are sure that your sofa can be delivered on the new day.
You will be contacted approx. 1/2 hour before delivery by our shipping company.
When your new sofa is delivered on the agreed delivery date, the sofa will be delivered to the nearest curb. We therefore recommend that you are two people to recieve the sofa.
BASECAMP is delivered in separate modules, and it will be easier for you to carry it in, if you remove the modules from the box first.
If you have chosen our carry-in service, the modules will be delivered to the nearest room separately.
Also note that, for safety reasons, the driver must not take off his shoes during delivery. It is therefore a good idea to prepare with a dirt undergarment for delicate floors.
Assembly guide and packaging:
Our sofas are wrapped in plastic in a cardboard box. In order to take good care of the environment, it is therefore important to sort the waste correctly.
